A little about the person behind the code and the products.
I am Nguyen Ngoc Dat, also known as 0xDAT. An Information Security student and Full-stack Developer with a passion for building modern web applications and creative games.
I design, build and ship DN Tarot (5 decks, 5 spreads) and 0xDAT Games (8 titles) entirely on my own, from design through to deployment.
Three products I designed, coded and deployed from scratch - from concept to interface to infrastructure.
Free online Tarot platform with 5 complete decks and 5 professional spreads. Bilingual interface (Vietnamese-English), no registration required, smooth performance on all devices.
Self-developed game portal with 8 original titles, from 3D physics playgrounds to arcade and puzzle games. Plays straight in the browser, no installation needed.
A working set of 14 utilities I built for everyday tasks: social data lookups, network intelligence, payment codes, image processing and text tools. Each one opens in its own focused workspace.
Key milestones in my product development journey - from the first lines of code to the products and tools people use every day.
Replaced one long scrolling page with a card catalogue: pick a tool and it opens in its own focused workspace, with the URL kept in sync so any tool can be bookmarked or shared. All 14 tools were re-tested after the rewrite, and a startup guard now shows a readable error instead of a blank panel if one ever fails to mount.
Open the labAdded a strict Content-Security-Policy pinned to a hash of the inline script, blocked direct access to backups and dotfiles, and moved publishing to an allow-list build so nothing extra ever reaches the server. Five tools, including TOTP, image conversion and the text utilities, were rewritten to run entirely in the browser, so that data never leaves the device.
Rewrote the live-status checker to work through a queue of up to 200 IDs per run, reporting progress, live and die counts and an accuracy percentage as results arrive instead of freezing until the very end. Copy output can be filtered to live or die only, and returns bare IDs with no extra notes, ready to paste straight into the next tool.
The Utility Lab started as a single lookup I was tired of doing by hand. It turned out useful enough that I kept adding to it: IP intelligence, weather, VietQR, translation and image tools, until it had grown into a proper suite. Written in plain JavaScript with no build step, so it stays fast to load and easy to keep alive.
Officially launched 0xDAT Games with 8 original titles across various genres. Applied Three.js and Phaser 3 to build an optimized game engine, achieving stable 60fps on all devices. Integrated realtime leaderboard system and multiplayer for selected games.
DN Tarot earned a 4.9/5 star rating from its users. Added features including save history, AI-powered interpretation, and dark mode. SEO optimization brought the website to top search results for "tarot online" keywords.
Launched the first version of DN Tarot with 5 complete decks and 11 professional spreads. Built smooth animations with Framer Motion, designed minimalist yet elegant UI/UX. Bilingual Vietnamese-English support from day one.
Started deep research into WebGL and 3D graphics programming with Three.js. Completed 5 demo projects on shader effects, particle systems, and 3D modeling. This foundation later helped build 3D games in 0xDAT Games.
Transitioned from plain React to Next.js framework, learned App Router and Server Components. Built 3 real projects to master SSR, SSG, ISR and optimization techniques. Gained deep understanding of SEO and performance metrics (Core Web Vitals).
Completed and deployed my first web application with React + Firebase. Learned database management, authentication, and hosting. Experienced the full workflow from development to production deployment.
Began my programming journey with basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. After 6 months, moved on to learning React and building small projects for practice. This was the foundation for developing larger projects later on.
